Cherry Hill, a township in Camden County, New Jersey, is located in the Delaware Valley metropolitan region, approximately 7 miles east of Philadelphia. Cherry Hill has a population of 74,217 people, according to the 2020 census. 

Cherry Hill was incorporated in 1844 and was originally known as Delaware Township. The town was renamed Cherry Hill in 1961 because of its large collection of blooming cherry trees. Cherry Hill experienced rapid growth in the 1950s and 1960s, and is now one of the largest and most affluent towns in New Jersey.
